Note from [[The Archivist]]: This information seems to have been filed by this "Omeletteman" himself. It is not yet known how this man got access to the terminal. Despite being a human being, something is not quite right about this man. But I just can't figure out what it is.

She held the title of UpWard Mascotte Caretaker, responsible for watching and taming the things wandering the facility. Her background is a complete black box. No one we've interviewed knows where she came from or who hired her. The only consistent piece of intel we've gathered from former staff is a strict warning: do not cross her.

She had an unnatural grip on the mascottes. We found numerous logs detailing her dynamic with [[Chompy Chasey]]; he rarely left her side and functioned almost as her personal guard dog. She knew exactly what made him tick.

Even more concerning is her connection to [[Binky Drinky]]. Every other handler failed , often violently, to get [[Binky Drinky]] under control. According to the records we recovered, Lauren was the only person breathing who actually knew how to tame it.

Whilst many people had a strong distain for many of the higher ups on the first floor, the manager of the second floor, Cory, appears to have been quite liked by his colleagues as all records speak positively about him. Supposedly, Cory always had a big smile on his face and was highly motivated for his job. Staff note he was usually at his working station extremely early, as his office was nearly always occupied. Despite this, he wasn't seen much outside of his office, meaning most employees didn't see him too often. Despite not seeing him much, everyone did know his motto: "Let's make sure the kids have a shockingly good time!" Knowing what that monster did, I can't help but feel sick to my stomach reading that quote as I look at his cursed smile.

For all intents and purposes, Mr. Grin was the man running the entire operation. Recovered documents list him under a rotating door of titles: CEO, President, Director, and whatever other corporate bullshit sounded good on paper. We're officially classifying him as "Director" for our records. While he certainly strutted around playing the part of the man in charge, we aren't convinced he was actually at the very top of the food chain. There's an underlying current in these files that strongly suggests something much bigger and darker was pulling his strings.

As for the man himself, he was universally despised. We haven't found a single positive account of him anywhere, neither from the staff operating inside UpWard nor from any of his external contacts. But regardless of how much everyone hated his guts, the ledgers don't lie: he always delivered results.

He kept the nightmare running smoothly right up until The Raid. After that, his paper trail abruptly vanishes. We're still sifting through the aftermath, but his ultimate fate remains our biggest question mark. We have absolutely zero confirmation on whether Mr. Grin is actually dead, or if he somehow managed to slip away when everything went down. Until we find a body, we have to treat him as a highly dangerous, active loose end.

Jesse ran the 1st Floor. Officially, his title was "Supervisor," a position he acquired with unnatural speed. From the recovered staff communications, it’s clear his actual personality was widely despised across the UpWard facility. The only thing that kept him in anyone's good graces was his appearance. He was conventionally handsome and used that surface-level charm to manipulate his way to the top. Staff notes repeatedly mention him "stealing souls" to get his promotions. Given what we're uncovering about this place, we can't be certain if that was just a corporate figure of speech.

We’ve managed to piece together some fragmented paperwork detailing his day-to-day operations, but the most horrifying piece of intel we've found is an old training tape.

It appears to be a staff orientation video. In it, Jesse is actively instructing a group of new hires on the facility's exact protocols for "brainwashing the kids." The entire operation is completely sickening, but the most disturbing part of the recording is Jesse himself. He details the psychological conditioning process step-by-step with a massive, genuine smile on his face the entire time. Absolute psychopaths run this place.

People out here call me The Archivist. I let them. I don't share my real name anymore. I learned the hard way that in the world we live in now, a name is a vulnerability. You give it away, and you give your enemies, human or otherwise, leverage. Out here, anonymity is just another survival tool, right next to paranoia and a loaded weapon.

I didn't wander into the Wilds by accident. I am here to protect. I founded D.A.R.K. for a reason. It isn't just about documenting the anomalies & documenting the employees or surviving the monsters that crawl out of the fog. It's a countermeasure.

I found him wandering Sweetlake Forest. He used to be an engineer who built practical gadgets. Now, he is just a haunted man. His friend Luke mysteriously vanished a couple of weeks ago, and that disappearance dragged him straight into these woods.

He came looking for answers, but he found me instead. I came out here completely on my own to face my nightmares. I was flying solo, but now we are in this together. Winston is my new partner.

My name is Walter Vex. I am thirty five years old, and Sweetlake Forest is my real home. I was just a little kid when the nightmare happened. I saw the monsters with my own eyes. I saw the original Dark Pals trying to fight them off while my family packed our things in a frantic rush. We evacuated and got out alive. But then the lies started. For years, adults looked me in the eye and told me I was crazy. They told me everything I saw never actually happened. They tried to make me believe it was all just a bad dream.

But you cannot just erase something like that. The memories haunted me into adulthood. I always knew there was more to the story than they wanted me to believe. I needed the truth. In 2020, I finally came back and joined the Dark Pals. I was determined to get real answers and face the things hiding in the woods.

I did not wait for anyone else to believe me. I came out here completely on my own to face the truth. It has been a ruthless struggle. Standing alone in the dark is hard, but it is the only way to be sure of what you are seeing.
